We've all played with our food at some point, but we've never gotten results like these. Artist Erin Jang totally changed the way we'll look at Disney characters from now on after she whipped up a few mind-blowing portraits of our faves that we can actually eat.
Take, for example, Marie from Aristocrats, which the designer created using Maple cotton candy for the fur, among other things. In the shot Erin posted on Instagram, the cute cat can be seen with a pink candy button nose and pink sparkly candy ears as well.
Then, there's her edible version of Mickey Mouse's loveable pal Pluto, that made us drool. "New work for @disney! Pluto, constructed out of hot dog and hamburger buns, salami, provolone cheese, black olives and dark rye bread," she captioned the Instagram shot. In it, Pluto sticks out his salami tongue.
And for the more health-conscious, Erin had something in store for veggie lovers too. "Making Pascal, the chameleon from Tangled, out of spinach tortilla and twelve different vegetables. (New work for @disney.)," she wrote alongside the snap on Instagram. In that one, Pascal's face is topped with kale, broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms and more.
The food artist also created edible versions of The Little Mermaid's flounder using blue raspberry candy, Frozen's Olaf with white rice and seaweed mocha, and The Good Dinosaur's Arlo with sliced green pepper, zucchini and blueberries, among other things.
