After nearly a century of wishing and hoping, our acceptance letter to the esteemed Hogwarts finally arrived - by publicist not owl but, hey, we'll take what we can get.

"The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" launch at Universal Studios Hollywood Tuesday was nothing short of spectacular. When you've got wizards, like Fred and George Weasley (James and Oliver Phelps), walking among us muggles, you can't help but feel the magic.

With the release date of the prequel to the beloved franchise, Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them starring Eddie Redmayne, only months away, we asked the stars what spinoff they'd like to see if all they had to do was wave their wand to make it happen.

"We only get flashes of them in the books," said, Evanna, recalling the moment in front of the Mirror of Erised where Harry is yearning for his parents. "I'd love to know what kind of people they were and what they were like."

We haven't heard from him in a while so that would be fun to see," he said. "As far as my own spinoffs go - good Lord, I wouldn't know where to start."

The reformed Slytherin added: "I'm excited to see the new work. It's great that they've got the team back together - [director] Yates and [producer] Master Heyman."

"It's exciting that we're going to see that story come to life. It's another glimpse into this magical world J.K. Rowling's created."

The special evening featured an epic fireworks display and 3D lighting projection on Hogwarts castle while legendary John Williams conducted the L.A. Philharmonic.

Following the presentation, guests let their inner child run wild, experiencing everything from the incredible "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey" 3D-HD ride and "Flight of the Hippogriff" outdoor roller coaster to the foray of whimsical shops. There's more than enough Harry Potter merch for you to scoop up and keep the magic alive long after you leave the park. And we're happy to report: the food and beverage selection is delish.

"The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" is open to the public starting Thursday, April 7.
