In her latest interview with GQ, the "Good For You" singer shared an anecdote about that one time the Sean John founder confused her for a valet woman. It's all part of the weirdness that comes along with being a celebrity.
Gomez started her story by describing fame as "when you're around four people and everybody has the champagne glass, and somebody says something and they laugh but they didn't say a joke," then added, "Or when P. Diddy gave me his valet ticket once."
"Do you know what I mean?" she quipped to writer Zach Baron, who, being a non-celebrity, admittedly did not know what she meant.
"Because he thought I was the valet lady," Gomez said.
"What?!" Baron replied, to which the "Spring Breakers" star just said a simple "Yeah."
But Gomez took no offense to Diddy's confusion. Instead, she thought it was hilarious.
"Look, I see all of it. I don't care — I actually laughed hysterically when it happened. But I get it," she said. "I know what all of it is."
