Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan's new music video for "Make You Stay" keeps fans coming back for more. Known musically as The Girl and the Dreamcatcher, the singers released the stunning visual only recently and it already has over two million views.
Cambio caught up with the engaged duo immediately after they shot the vid for an in-studio Facebook Live interview. See what they had to say about the experience below!
Ryan: We are just so abundantly blessed to work with two of our very talented, wonderful, amazing friends, Colton Tran, the fantastic director, and Brian Schulze, an amazing producer and choreographer. The four of us have done every video that you've seen from [The Girl and the Dreamcatcher] with the creative, shooting it and everything.
Dove: Our two big videos that we've released so far ["Written In The Stars" and "Glowing In the Dark"] - excluding the Christmas ones and obviously our dance video for "Dessert" - were very theatrical and they were very intense and they had a lot of levels...and robotic. They kind of lived in their own little world. We really wanted to do something that lived in the real world. Just FYI, I'm still wearing some of the clothing items from last night. It's my clothing. It's very much like we did everything. Half of it takes place in a coffee shop and the other half takes place at our friend's house. We wanted to bring a softer side to ourselves even though it's not a super soft song, which I think is going to be a cool juxtaposition.
