Actress Bella Thorne, who first got her big break on the popular Disney series "Shake It Up," announced on Twitter that she is bisexual.
On Tuesday, the 18-year-old replied "Yes" in a Twitter exchange with a fan asking if she's bisexual, sparking a passionate response from her followers who quickly expressed their support.
"Aww thank you all for the accepting tweets from everyone," she wrote. "I love you guys."
But fans who've been following Thorne on Snapchat have been speculating for weeks that she is dating Bella Pendergast, her older brother's ex-girlfriend. The two have reportedly been best friends since Thorne was 15, but their social media presence of late has taken a romantic turn.
After Thorne's relationship with "Faking It" star Gregg Sulkin ended earlier in August, she and Pendergast have been sharing intimate moments on Snapchat and Instagram. Before her announcement, Thorne retweeted several Snapchats of the two kissing and cuddling, prompting many followers to officially "ship" the pair.
The week prior she declared her love for Pendergast in a sweet message on Instagram, captioning a photo of the two jumping into a pool hand-in-hand, "I love you to the moon and back ❤️❤️❤️ @bellapendergast the love you have for animals is the love I have for you❤️ so you can put it in perspective."
Although it's unclear if Thorne and Sulkin split because of her relationship with Pendergast, according to the "Scream" actress, there are no hard feelings between the two.
After news of the breakup made the internet rounds, Thorne comforted a fan, explaining that Sulkin "helped me through such a rough time" and she "couldn't be more thankful for him."
