Recently, internet comedian KevOnStage slayed our entire life when he called out a problematic tweet that insinuated that $50 was enough to "splurge" at Sephora.
True beauty mavens know what's up. And clearly, S.O.'s of true beauty mavens do, too!

"You give your girl $50 to go to MAC and Sephora, y'all going to end up in an argument," he quips in the hilariously honest video that has since gone viral. "She's going to be frustrated because she can't get what she wants. She sure can't get two or three of something. Maybe a lipstick and a beautyblender, maybe. You can't splurge, though!"

While at Beautycon LA, we posed this question to guests on the pink carpet: If you only had 50 bucks to spend at Sephora, what would you buy? Serious decisions were made.

5th Annual Beautycon Festival Los Angeles - ArrivalsMakeup guru Teni Panosian said she she'd go for a sunblock, lip balm and "a good eyebrow product." She said, "If my face is bare and I have those three, that's all I need."

We couldn't resist asking Teni to spill the deets on her favorite brow product because, well, look at her! "I love Maybelline's Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer. It thickens up your brows and it's good for a nice, natural, full look." The best part? It'll only set you back $10.
5th Annual Beautycon Festival Los Angeles - ArrivalsYouTuber Shameless Maya kept with the theme of her metallic-accented pink carpet look and opted for Commodity's Gold perfume, which is well under the $50 budget at $26.

The sheen queen also gave us her tip for applying highlighter. "If you're going to use a highlighter, make sure you blend it. I can't stand a highlight with rough edges." Her absolute must-haves? "For powder, it's Make Up For Ever's Pro Light Fusion Highlighter. For liquid, I like Cover FX's Custom Enhancer Drops. " They're $39 and $42, respectively.

See what we mean about not being able to splurge at Sephora with $50, people?!
5th Annual Beautycon Festival Los Angeles - ArrivalsDeVore Ledridge from Disney's Bizaardvark went with Anastasia's Brow Wiz pencil ($21) and Hourglass' Foundation Stick, which she mistook for less than the $46 price tag. (Damn budget restraints!) "I would just have foundation and brows," she said.5th Annual Beautycon Festival Los Angeles - ArrivalsDisney Channel alum Alyson Stoner seconds DeVore's brow must-have. She, too, uses Anastasia's Brow Wiz. "I actually would get brow pencils because I find that brows tend to look clumpy when you get the wrong thing." At $21 a pop, she can go wild and get two!
