Jeanette Batur

Contributing Writer
Los Angeles, CA

Jeanette wanted to be a writer since she was very young. In fact, she says her parents still have some of her “early work” and she’s really hoping that doesn’t make its way onto the internet. Fortunately, she’s worked hard at her craft since then and after penning a novel, she made her way over to the entertainment industry. Well, the behind-the-scenes aspect of it, anyway. Jeanette says she’d rather be behind the computer than in front of the camera any day and has been able to do so for a variety of blogs and entertainment sites such as E! Online. She currently spends most of her time researching NSFW stuff (for work, ironically) and watching dog videos on YouTube.

Cristina Gibson

Contributing Writer
New York City
Cristina was voted "Most Talkative" in 6th grade, 8th grade and 12th grade so it only made sense that she pursued a career in entertainment journalism, where you're actually encouraged to talk to famous strangers and ask personal questions. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University and worked at E! in LA and Life & Style magazine in NYC before Cambio, where she keeps up with the Kardashians, Jennifer Lawrence, Beyonce and Jay-Z. She lives in the East Village and really wonders why she hasn't run into Ryan Gosling yet.

Ashley Rose

Contributing Writer
Los Angeles, CA
Drake really nailed it when he said "started from the bottom"...Ashley sparked her celebrity-writing career as an intern for JSYK.com, which later transferred into the big ball of awesomeness we all know as Cambio today. It was back in her "go-get-me lunch" and "interview this no-namer" days that her Justin Bieber fever kicked in and slight obsession with Taylor Swift started too. Her first big celebrity interview was with Morgan Freeman (the actor, not the 'Teen Mom' guy) and her celebrity crush is Gavin DeGraw. When she's not obsessing over Dave Matthews' awesome musical talent or her love for the Pittsburgh Steelers, she's trying to figure out who T-Swift is dating or chasing fancy cars in Los Angeles because she thinks she saw the Biebs cruising with Selena Gomez. The coolest thing of all is that she gets paid to tell all of you about everything young Hollywood and country music. Swaggy.

Wendy Michaels

Contributing Writer
New York
Wendy has been a fan of entertainment news for as long as she can remember, so writing about pop culture and celebrities (following a brief career in marketing, that is) was a no-brainer. After covering the latest and greatest entertainment news for a variety of TV, movie and celeb blogs, she landed at Cambio, where she developed an addiction to One Direction buzz and solidified her status as a Lovatic. Wendy’s other loves include all things SNL and Johnny Depp.

Brandi Fowler

Contributing Writer

Brandi’s love for travel, entertainment news, foodie adventures and fashion led her to an exciting career in journalism as a writer, host and producer. After graduating from Duke University, she obtained a master’s degree in broadcast journalism at the University of Southern California and went on to contribute to the likes of Travel Channel, MTV News, E! News, E! Online, Citysearch.com, Us Weekly, Current TV and more. Since working for Cambio, Brandi has developed a healthy obsession with Shia LaBeouf’s paper bag and the occasional sightings of faux bears, devil babies and zombies that roam the streets of New York City.

Danielle Datu

Social Media Contributor
Los Angeles, CA
As a youngster, Danielle could be found in the magazine aisle of her local grocery store soaking up the pages of everything from "Tiger Beat" to "Rolling Stone." She was obsessed with all things entertainment, and even watched EVERY award show growing up no matter how boring everyone said they got each year. She later graduated from USC with a print journalism degree, and has since covered celebrity news for various outlets, including MTV News, Urban Bridgez, E! Online and the Style Network. Danielle can be a little neurotic when it comes to real-time tweeting and Instagramming from Hollywood events. Currently, she stalks celebrity hashtags for Cambio--not that anyone needs to pay her to do it.
