Host, Producer
New York City

Jayde Lovell is a scientist and host of 'ScIQ', a science YouTube channel with the TYT Network. She is also a STEM communicator for the New York Hall of Science

Jayde holds a holds a degree in neuroscience and a Masters of Science Communication from the University of Melbourne – she also was listed as one of AntHill magazine's 30 entrepreneurs under 30.

Jayde co-produces ScIQ with her BFF, writer/producer Bec Susan Gill. Together, they have produced videos for organizations such as the American Institute of Physics, Scientific American and Rolls Royce Engineering.

What really pains Jayde is when people communicate science as if they’d recently been lobotomised, or as though their key aim is to put others to sleep. She is on a mission to make science fun and accessible.

Jayde has been featured in EducationWeek, Fortune, Men's Health, Business Insider and Mashable. Jayde and Bec are currently in development of a pilot TV script 'SEC' (a teen drama centered around the lives of student engineers), which was funded by The MacGyver Foundation.
