• Darren Criss became an overnight sensation after 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy cast him as Blaine Anderson, an openly gay student and lead singer of rival glee club, The Dalton Academy Warblers. His cover of Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' for the show was one of the most downloaded singles in the show's history. Darren originally auditioned for the role of Finn (obviously that didn't work out) and was picked up as series regular for the show's third season. Darren plays violin, guitar, piano, and drums and has a degree in acting from University of Michigan where he co-wrote and played the part of Harry in 'A Very Potter Musical' and 'A Very Potter Sequel.' He also appeared in Katy Perry's music video for 'Last Friday Night.'
