- While in high school, Emma Stone convinced her parents to let her move to Hollywood via a Power Point presentation. She ended up competing on the VH1 reality show "In Search of the New Partridge Family," where she won the role of Laurie. After the pilot was passed on, she landed roles on various TV shows like "Lucky Louie" and the short-lived "Drive." It was Stone's big screen debut in 'Superbad' that really opened the door for her. She then landed roles in 'The Rocker,' 'The House Bunny,' and 'Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past.' She turned leading lady with her critically acclaimed role in the coming of age movie 'Easy A.' In 2001, she starred in not one, but three hit movies: 'Crazy, Stupid, Love,' 'Friends with Benefits,' and 'The Help.' Up next, she can be seen as Gwen Stacy in 'The Amazing Spider-Man' opposite Andrew Garfield and 'The Gangster Squad' opposite Ryan Gosling.
