- The Jonas Brothers consists of Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas. Nick was originally signed as a solo act, but when he wrote the song "Please Be Mine" with his brothers, they were signed as a group. On August 8, 2006 the Jonas brothers released their debut album "It's About Time." After signing with Hollywood Records, they released their self-titled album which included songs "S.O.S. and "Hold On." In the 2008, they starred in the Disney Channel Original Movies "Camp Rock" and its sequel, "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam." They went on to star in their own series "JONAS" and "JONAS LA" and also released the records 'A Little Bit Longer,' and 'Lines, Vines and Trying Times.' In 2008, the group was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 51st Grammy Awards and won the award for Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards. They have since sold over 8 million albums and had two sold out world tours.
