• If you've ever wondered how a pop song is made, you might want to ask Tori Kelly. Really, all you would have to do is take a seat in the music sanctuary she built in her bedroom and watch what happens next. It's there that the 18 year old singer/songwriter creates a bouquet of demos from scratch that perfectly blend the accessibility of the girl next door with the presence of a world class diva.
  
  Tori started singing around the age of three and soon thereafter began taking singing lessons. After a string of competitions, she found herself hitting the first of many career milestones on the stage of "Star Search" at age 10. She came head to head with David Archuleta and prompted a simple question from the judges: How does such a big voice come from such a little girl?
  
  At age 12 Tori lit up the stage of "America's Most Talented Kids" sharing the stage with a young Jordin Sparks. Her success from that TV performance garnered a record deal with Geffen Records in 2004. She caught the writing bug as a result of her experiences at Geffen working with many talented producers and began sharing her creative process with the world through YouTube. The competitive streak continued when Tori auditioned to rave reviews on "American Idol," and the floodgates seemed to open from there. To date, her channel has grown to over 3 million upload views with dozens of videos that showcase her prolific knack for creating pop music.
