The 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards belonged to Miranda Lambert after she scooped four trophies at the ceremony in Las Vegas on Sunday.
The country star was crowned Female Vocalist of The Year, while her track "The House That Built Me" received honors for Song of The Year, Single Record of The Year and Video of The Year.
Brad Paisley took home the Male Vocalist of The Year trophy and trio Lady Antebellum accepted awards for Top Vocal Group and Album of The Year for Need You Know. Picking up their prize, Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley joked, "Thank you, Miranda Lambert, for winning this last year and not being in the category this year!"
Taylor Swift saw off competition from Lambert, Paisley, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith and Keith Urban to land the coveted Entertainer of The Year award via an online and text fan vote during the show at the MGM Grand. An excited Swift told the crowd, "This is the first time that I've ever won this, and I'm just losing my mind."
The event, hosted by Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire, featured stunning performances by Paisley, James Taylor and the Zac Brown Band, Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler, and Rihanna and Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles.
And there was a touching moment when Darius Rucker took the stage to perform "Music From the Heart" with a choir of developmentally challenged youths.
Meanwhile, Ronnie Dunn made his TV debut as a solo act and Sara Evans received a standing ovation as she returned to the ACMs after four years to perform new hit "A Little Bit Stronger."
