Summertime Entertainment's upcoming film "Dorothy of Oz," an animated musical continuation of "The Wizard of Oz" where Dorothy returns to the remains of her Kansas home only to return to Oz once again to help her friends, features an all-star cast led by Glee star, Lea Michele, as Dorothy. With previous work not only on Fox's hit show Glee, but on Broadway as well, Lea has plenty of experience with musicals, however, this is the starlets first feature film role.

The rest of cast includes voices of Jim Belushi as the Lion, Dan Aykroyd as the Scarecrow and Kelsey Grammer as the Tin Man. New characters will be voiced by Oliver Platt as Wiser the Owl, Megan Hilty as the China Princess, Hugh Dancy as as Marshall Mallow and Martin Short as the Jester - Dorothy's arch-nemesis.

The film is expected for a late 2011 release.
