Yesterday, it was announced that the CW opted to not renew freshman cheerleading drama "Hellcats," and fans immediately took to twitter to express their anger.
The stars of the show, Aly Michalka and Ashley Tisdale, however took to their twitters to express their thanks and gratitude for those that watched the show.
Aly tweeted, "My dear fans….I just want to tell you all how grateful I am for all your comments regarding Hellcats being cancelled. I had such an incredible experience that was life changing. The friendships,memories,and adventures will never be forgotten. I'm looking forward to a great season finale tonight & celebrating the great work we all did as a cast. Positive outcomes only!"
Ashley also added, "I had an amazing experience filming Hellcats. Not only did I grow as a person but I met some amazing people who are now my best friends. I just want to thank all the fans for all the support! xoxo"
Also speaking out to the fans, AJ Michalka, who guest starred on the show, wrote, "What an incredible last episode of #Hellcats ! I could not have been more blessed to have worked on such a solid show with my kindred spirit. Aly's talent, hard work and kindness blows me away :)"
The series finale of the show aired last night.
