Lee Dewyze may have just won "American Idol," but details for season 10 are already hitting the web.

The age limit for the show has been lowered by a year to 15. Contestants between the ages of 15 and 28 are now eligible to audition.

What is the reasoning for lowering the age? "A lot of young, talented people are now seeking careers and representation before they turn 16," said Cecile Frot-Coutaz, executive producer of AMERICAN IDOL. "Lowering the age limit allows us to tap into this talent pool."

Auditions will kick-off in Nashville on July 17. Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi and Ellen DeGeneres will be returning as judges. No word yet on who will replace Simon Cowell.

What do you think of the new age limits? Do you plan on auditioning?

Milwaukee, WI Wednesday, July 21 Bradley Center

New Orleans, LA Monday, July 26 TBA

East Rutherford, NJ Tuesday, Aug. 3 IZOD Center
