It's getting so close to the finale!
Last night, the top three contestants on "American Idol" battled for a spot in next week's finale. In AI tradition, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina and Haley Reinhart all made visits to their hometowns then worked with Beyonce as their mentor.
As in years past, the finalists performed three songs, one of which was picked by the judges and another was picked by legendary music producer and Idol mentor Jimmy Iovine.
Scotty sang "Amazed" by Lonestar, "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?" by Thompson Square (chosen by Jimmy), and "She Believes in Me" by Kenny Rogers (chosen by the judges).
Lauren belted out "She's a Wild One" by Faith Hill, "If I Die Young" by the Band Perry (chose by Jimmy), and "I Hope You Dance" by LeAnn Womack (chosen by the judges).
Haley went a little more edgy and performed "What Is and What Should Never Be" by Led Zepplin, "Rhiannon" by Stevie Nicks (chosen by Jimmy) and " You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morissette (chosen by the judges).
Tonight we'll find out who makes it to the finale next week. Don't forget to check out our Cambio Goes Home with The Band Perry, the group behind "If I Die Young."
