This is what happens when you spread lies and rumors about Brad and Angelina. A British tabloid wrote a story filled with "false and intrusive" rumors about the two splitting up and the couple took them to court.

The News of the World ran a story titled "Pitts All Over" in January about the two supposedly visiting a divorce attorney and came to a conclusion on the division of their assets and the custody of their children.

First of all, the couple isn't even married so the divorce rumor is obviously false, and the couple is far from splitting. The couple immediately took action against the magazine and ordered for the story to be retracted, but the tabloid refused.

The couple's attorney, Keith Schilling, said in a statement, "When the News of the World failed to publicly retract the allegations and apologize for them - thereby leaving their readers in the dark as to the true position - the couple felt they had no alternative than to sue. Today's victory marks the end of the litigation brought by Brad and Angelina."

Way to go!
