Britney Spears has been forced to postpone a rare interview on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" due to scheduling conflicts.
The pop superstar was set to sit down with the Ellen this week to tape a chat, as well as perform songs from her new album, Femme Fatale.
Spears was also rumored to be keen to show off her comedic skills in a series of skits with the comedienne. However, fans will have to wait to see the Spears grace DeGeneres' studio after she pulled out of her appearance because of a scheduling issues.
A statement posted on Spears' Facebook.com page reads, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts on both ends. Trying to put it back together for a later date."
Britney will appear on "Good Morning America" and Live with Jimmy Kimmel today. She is also scheduled to attend the Kids' Choice Awards this weekend.
