A little rain couldn't stop the premiere of "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" in New York City on Wednesday afternoon.
The stars of the upcoming Disney Channel movie gathered at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center for the celebration. Fans lined the street to catch a glimpse of the stars and some even drove 15 hours to get there. To kick off the premiere, everyone was treated to a performance of "Brand New Day" from the Camp Rock dancers.
Chloe Bridges was the first to arrive, looking sophisticated in white, and the rest of the stars soon followed. During the red carpet, it started to sprinkle a little bit, but everyone kept making their way down the line as umbrellas started to come out to cover the stars. Demi even wanted to hold her own umbrella, but eventually her bodyguard took it for her.
After making their way down most of the press line, the cast was escorted across the street so they could meet and greet the fans, and boy did they start to scream! The cast signed as many autographs and took as many pictures as possible before returning to the red carpet to finish up with the press.
Everyone then headed inside to see the movie and were treated to a special surprise concert of about 6 songs after the movie.
I had the chance to screen the movie last week, and let me tell you, it really is bigger and better. The dance numbers are amazing, I love the new characters (and the old of course!) and the movie has such a great message. Make sure to keep it locked right here on Cambio for a bunch of cool things with the cast of the movie, including my red carpet interviews from the premiere.
While you wait though, check out some pictures from the big night below. Make sure to tune in to Disney Channel on September 3 to see the movie!
