It was American week last night on "Dancing With the Stars, which meant that each contestant had to perform their dance to a song that were "American" in one way or another.

Contestants took the floor to dance to songs like "Yankee Doodle," "God Bless the USA," "American Woman," and "Viva Las Vegas."

Hines Ward topped the leader board with 27 points, but it was quite a close race last night with Romeo getting his highest score of the competition, a 26 which put him in a tie for second. And one of our favorite moments, Kirstie Alley received a visit and some dancing advice from her Look Who's Talking co-star John Travolta.

Here's are favorite 3 dances from last night. Who were yours?

1. Chelsea Kane & Mark Ballas samba to "Party in the USA"

2. Romeo & Chelsie Hightower foxtrot to "New York, New York"

3. Hines Ward & Kym Johnson rumba to "God Bless the USA"
