Are you a big soup eater?
Well, you might have to start paying attention to the labels on those cans. Our health and fitness guru Joey Rubino has a brand new blog entry today about soups and how to make sure you're not getting too much sodium. He says, "You must stay on your guard with so many canned soups that have high levels of trans fats, sodium and artificial preservatives such as MSG. Just one serving (which is roughly one cup) can have almost 1,000 milligrams of salt. Also, steer clear of soups that are cream-based, they tend to be high in calories and fat."
