Drake and trio Hanson were scheduled to perform a free concert at South Street Seaport in New York on Tuesday afternoon.

Over 25,000 people showed up for the concert and started causing riots, forcing the show to be canceled. The organizers of the concert were only expecting 10,000 fans to show up.

Reminds us of the chaos that ensued when Justin Bieber tried to do a free signing at the Roosevelt Field Mall last year.

Drake's first full-length album, Thank Me Later, was released on Tuesday and is already expected to to sell over 425,000 copies.

Hanson's latest album, Shout It Out, released on June 8.
