Eminem is having a huge weekend. The rapper is nominated for a total of 10 Grammys.

The rapper has not done interviews in quite a while and last week, he granted his first interview in months to 14-year-old Annie Reed.

The 8th grader is a reporter for the Cavalier Corner newspaper at East Hills Middle School in Troy, Michigan. Annie told the Free Press that her school newspaper instructor liked her idea of doing a piece on the Detroit rapper, but he wanted more than a biography. He encouraged her to try for the interview.

Reed found an email for Eminem's reps and sent an interview request. His rep, Dennis Dennehy, apparently liked her enthusiasm and said, "I just thought, ';Wow, here's a middle school girl from Detroit who has some guts,' " he told the Free Press.

Eminem talked about avoiding mistakes in their 10-minute chat, Annie said.

"He told me that he dropped out of school when he was my age, and I thought about what that would be like for me if I did that right now. Then I thought, ';I like school!' "

How awesome it must of been for Annie!
