Did you catch Emily Osment in ABC Family's movie "Cyberbully" this past weekend?
Emily wrote and produced a song called "Drift" that is featured in the movie. We caught up with Emily recently at the Delete Digital Drama Rally where she performed the song live for the first time.
"It's a new thing for me, writing a song for a specific scene in a specific movie that I happen to be in…it's weird," Emily told us. "The music lends itself towards the theme of this film which is a downward spiral then bringing yourself back up from that."
And what's next for Emily? She's working on a new album and she's doing a few tour dates but she has something bigger. She's heading to college!
She'll be attending a liberal arts college in Los Angeles and she told us, "I deferred for a year, I'm a little bit old. I'll be the oldest one in my class." And is she nervous? "No, uh uh. My mom is a teacher and I went to a normal high school. I'm pretty normal."
You can get "Drift" now on iTunes.
