Meaghan Martin is taking on the role of Wendy in Alloy's new webseries of the same name. The series is from the executive producers of "The Vampire Diaries" and is the story about a girl who must choose between the boy she loves and the boy of her dreams. If you haven't guessed from the title, it's a modern day retelling of the classic Peter Pan.
We chatted with Meaghan about the webseries, which co-stars Tyler Blackburn from "Pretty Little Liars." She told us, "It's like a sexy, dangerous version of Peter Pan. We get into lots of trouble in the webseries. Well, mostly I do, not Pete."
So besides the romance, the show will also have some cool stunts. Meaghan told us, "I got to do a stunt where I fell from 70 feet up in the air at free fall speed. It was cool. I wanted them to drop me at a faster speed."
And why will people like "Wendy"? "Peter Pan is a classic story. It has the appeal of the mythical Neverland and that magical draw to it. On top of that it is more for the teen demographic. It's definitely got an edge, sex appeal thing going on."
"Wendy" premieres TOMORROW, September 15 on Facebook.com/wendytheseries. Make sure to tune in!
