It's a "brotherly love" reunion!
Tonight on ABC Family, "Melissa & Joey" is giving you double the Lawrence brothers in back to back episodes. That's right, both Andrew and Matthew Lawrence are guest starring on big bro Joey's show.
In "The Other Longo," Joe's younger brother, Tony (Matthew Lawrence), shows up without any notice and asks to stay at the house. At first Tony is little more than a nuisance, but Mel changes her views on him once she sees what a wonderful photographer he is. Things take a different turn once some photos Tony shoots of Mel wind up on the Internet.
Then, in "Teacher/Teacher," after Ryder gets a bad grade on his history paper, Joe talks to the teacher, Mr. McKay, (Andrew Lawrence) in hopes of raising his grade, but manages to only make things worse. Distressed at how upset Ryder gets with him, Joe goes back to the teacher to sort things out. Meanwhile Mel tries to be the "cool aunt" by taking underage Lennox to a concert.
We were on the set with Andrew where he told us how fun it was to play unrelated to Joey. "It's kind of cool. I don't think we've ever done that. Every time we work together we've always been cousins, brothers, something. This time, I get to be a stranger!"
Andrew also told us about the music he's working on. Check it out and make sure to tune in for the back-to-back episodes tonight on ABC Family starting at 8pm EST.
