The 2010 FIFA World Cup has found its way to South Africa. The tournament kicked off with a special concert featuring artists such as the Black Eyed Peas, Shakira, and Alicia Keys. Knowing that no team from the host country has lost their opening match, pressure was pushed on the South African team last Friday when they played a determined team from Mexico. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Although some teams were termed as "favorites" in the cup, few of them were unsuccessful in their first matches, such as Spain. The Spanish team entered the tournament declared as the favorites to win the entire tournament, only to be devastated in a crushing loss from Switzerland. As for the much anticipated match between the United States and England, the game was found as a 1-1 draw. The goal scored for team USA was by star Clint Dempsey, but the real star of the match was the American goalkeeper Tim Howard, who had an amazing performance guarding the nets.

So now that the first round of group play is finished, leave a comment on our Facebook and tell us who you think is going to win the World Cup based off all 32 teams first performances? Will Spain bounce back from that embarrassing loss? Or will Brazil continue to dominate each team they face? Games can be found live every morning on ESPN.
