Stars from Disney's "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" teamed up with Disney's Friends for Change and the Ocean Conservancy recently to co-host an International Coastal Cleanup kickoff in the Gulf.

The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and other stars from the hit Disney Channel movie joined in to lend a helping hand. The event shined a light on the Gulf region and drew attention to the importance of keeping the world's waterways clean. The event will be highlighted FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15 on Disney Channel.

During the event, Disney's Friends for Change also recognized 11-year old Olivia Bouler, a talented young artist from Islip, New York whose creative work to help the affected wildlife in the Gulf has garnered national attention.

Nick Jonas shared on site, "the ocean is such a big part of this Earth…Sea life is definitely important, we need to keep the fish healthy. They keep us healthy."
