George Clooney is no stranger to the Emmy Awards. The actor was nominated in 1995 and 1996 for his time spent on the medical drama "ER." Unfortunately, Clooney was beat out both times.

Clooney will finally get the chance to take the stage as a winner at the upcoming Emmy Awards on August 29. He will be honored with the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award.

Clooney will be honored for his good deeds on behalf of victims of 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, the Asian tsunami, Haiti earthquake and the Darfur genocide.

Congrats George!
