Freddie Highmore is juggling his film work with a degree at England's prestigious Cambridge University, so he can decide if he wants to carry on acting or pursue an academic career.

The 19-year-old is studying Spanish and Arabic at the top U.K. establishment, and is using his summer break to promote his movie The Art of Getting By, but Highmore, who found fame playing the title character in 2005's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, is unsure whether to carry on acting, and is using his time as a student to figure out his career path.

He tells the BBC, "I've always found it important to carry on with school at the same time as doing acting, not completely focus on acting yet, and it gives me a bit more time to work out what you want to do with your life. Go to university and you have a few more years to decide exactly what you're going to be doing.

"It seems to be working out okay now. I had to take a little bit of time off to do some promotion for this (the movie)… I think it's incredibly important to carry on with studies but at the same time if some things (acting jobs) can be fitted in then we'll see."

Well, Freddie is a very talented young actor so we hope he continues, but of course, education is very important as well.
