Singer-turned-designer Jessica Simpson is expanding her fashion empire to include her first jewelry collection.
The blonde beauty has turned her Jessica Simpson Collection company into a billion-dollar firm, encompassing clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories. Now Simpson is adding jewelry designer to her already-impressive resume with a line called Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend.
She tells WWD.com, "This collection has allowed me to create pieces that truly reflect who I am, and that can become a keepsake for a lifetime. The designs are airy and artistic and so easy to wear."
The 31-year-old's new range features necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings made of silver, gold and diamonds. The collection will go on sale in October, priced between $79 and $999.
