British singer Jessie J was hospitalized on Saturday after falling from a stage platform while rehearsing for a show in London.
The "Price Tag" hitmaker was practicing her set ahead of Sunday's Capital Summertime Ball at Wembley Arena when she slipped and injured herself.
Jessie J sought medical treatment and was diagnosed with a ripped ligament in her foot, and she took to her Twitter blog to tell her fans – who she affectionately calls ';heartbeats' – about the accident.
In the post, she writes, "Just want to let my heartbeats (ones waiting outside wembley) know that I have been taken to hospital after falling off a platform. I have ripped a main ligament in my foot and have been put on crutches and told to rest. I'm in a lot pain so please dont wait in the cold for me… sorry!"
But the star insists she will still be taking to the stage as planned on Sunday, adding: "Dont get it twisted! I'm gonna be singing tomorrow at STB even if I have to crawl, be carried or be wheeled onto stage! My foot is 3 times it normal size but my heartbeats rule and I will not (let) you down!"
