Joel Madden surprised Justin Bieber fans in Malaysia on Thursday night by taking to the stage to perform with the teen superstar.
The Good Charlotte rocker attended the 16-year-old's concert in Kuala Lumpur and ended up singing hit track "Don't Wanna Be In Love" in front of the crowd.
In a post on Twitter before the impromptu gig, Madden wrote, "About to check out the Justin Bieber show in KL (Kuala Lumpur) Malaysia. Hell yeah!! And he played me a new song and it's a hit!!"
The performance proved popular with Bieber's fans – Madden became a hit on Twitter following the show, adding, "I'm trending on Twitter right now? WTF man. That's what happens when you get on stage with Justin Bieber. Hell yeah… Thanks for the good times KL, Malaysia was good, now it's time for Singapore."
Meanwhile Bieber ';Tweeted', "The show must go on! Great show out in the rain in Malaysia!! Crowd was incredible and it was HOT!!!!"
