Julia Robert';s newest project 'Eat Pray Love' is based off of Elizabeth Gilbert's travel memoir which takes her all the way to India as a part of a spiritual pilgrimage to learn about yoga, meditation and life in an ashram. It turns out Julia wasn't just acting. The actress was so intrigued by the religion that she returned to the US as a Hindu.

Roberts, whose parents are Baptist and Catholic, told Elle Magazine the news first, "I'm definitely a practising Hindu."

She also revealed she often goes to temple to "chant, pray, and celebrate" with her husband and their three kids.

She also adopted the Hindu's belief in reincarnation. She says, "Golly, I've been so spoiled with my friends and family in this life. Next time I want to be just something quiet and supporting."

What do you think?
