Justin Timberlake was able to go unnoticed at Comic-Con this year by attending the fan-filled event in a "Sesame Street" costume.
The singer-turned-actor went incognito in an Ernie disguise to tour the pop culture convention in San Diego, California with reporter Chris Jones, who donned a Bert outfit. Jones accompanied Timberlake while he spent the day mingling with crowds of fans and photographers as part of Esquire's October cover story.
The star lapped up the attention while preserving his anonymity, and refused Jones' suggestion to take off his mask to surprise the crowds. Timberlake told the magazine, "No way, dude. You have no idea what it's like. I can sometime walk around New York if I dress the right way, but that's it…
"I keep forgetting, when people ask to take our picture it's because I'm Ernie. It's not because I'm me… You're witnessing one of the most memorable days of my life."
