Apparently Katy Perry had so much fun as prom queen in the 2010 Teen Choice Awards that she decided to crash one last Friday in Australia.

The singer made her way to a Grand Hyatt hotel in Melbourne where teens were dancing away the end of their school year.

Of course, Katy isn't just a party crasher, she even asked to speak with the head of the student council to make sure her visit would be alright with the students. Student council president Anthony Lay says, ''Someone came over to me and said Katy Perry had heard about our formal, and wanted to come."

Unfortunately, someone advised Katy against attending the prom due to the dangers according to Lays, "But she's a celebrity and there were more than 550 students in the room, so another person, a woman, said it would be too dangerous."

Luckily Katy ignored the saftey advice and became the life of the party. She marched right into the center of the dancefloor and started rocking it after grabbing a microphone and singing to Beyonce';s hit Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It). The shocked DJ quickly switched it over to Katy's most recent hit California Gurls.

After the festivities, Katy took to her twitter to tweet her fans, "I totes just crashed a prom!"

I wish Katy Perry had crashed my prom! What about you guys? What celebrity would you love to crash your prom?
