They may not be a Hannah Montana, but apparently the late 70's rock group KISS is there for the kids nowadays.

Ringleader of the group Gene Simmons told Billboard, "It's time to give back."

How do they plan on doing so? The band wants its fans to keep coming to their shows so bad that they're giving free tickets to children. Yes, KISS wants kids to go to their shows. They're giving up to four free tickets per adult on their summer amphitheater tour so fans can bring their children.

"There's another world out there besides Hannah Montana,'' Simmons told Billboard. "It's important for them to see how the big boys do it. There's no tapes. There's no background singers backstage. There's no click tracks. It's important for the kids to see that whatever you see on stage is real. We want to spread this. I'm insulted by any act that goes up there with dancers and tapes. It's insulting."

What do you think? Personally I think it's funny how people like Miley are dying to leave the kids behind while big shots like KISS are welcoming them with open arms.
