They may be dominating the country music charts, but Lady Antebellum remembers where they started.

The band has been opening for many of country's biggest acts, like Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, and Martina McBride over the years and they told The Boot that they've learned a lot from the gigs.

Hilary Scott shared, "One of the things we've seen from these artists is that they give it their all every night. The other thing is that they take care of their people. We've been out on some great tours where they take care of everyone from the opener to the guitar tech. That's so important to show everyone you care, because many of them work way longer hours than we ever could. I guess what we have taken away from the tours that we've been on is how important it is to care of your people."

Bandmate Dave Haywood added, "We've always been given the leeway to put on a good show. Most everyone we've opened for has allowed us a lot of use of the stage and creative freedom with our set."

The group won't be an opening act for much longer though. The band is currently opening for Tim McGraw, but this Fall they will headline their own "Need You Now" Tour. The trio is already selling out shows for the 35-city tour, having set a record in Augusta, Ga., on June 18, when tickets went on sale for the James Brown Arena show, selling out the 9,000-seat venue in seven minutes.

Do you plan on seeing Lady Antebellum on tour this Fall?
