Lady Gaga may be one of the biggest stars in the world right now, but even she can't get into her old apartment.
Lady Gaga recently taped an appearance on "60 Minutes," where she took the crew on a tour of her old hometown. She decided to make an unannounced visit to the New York City studio where she lived for three years as a struggling singer.
Once Lady Gaga and Anderson Cooper gained entry to the building, the duo made their way to Gaga's old apartment, but the current tenant wouldn't let them in or even open the door because of the camera crew. Instead, the superstar settles for sitting in the stairwell with Cooper and musing over a box of mementos.
How crazy is that?
Be on the lookout for Lady Gaga's single, "Born This Way," which will release on Friday, 2 days before it was scheduled to. You can catch Gaga's "60 Minutes" piece before the Grammys on February 13.
