Lady Gaga has been crowned the queen of the pop charts – Billboard magazine editors have named her Artist of the Year.
The "Poker Face" hitmaker has been hailed by the official U.S. chart publication in its end-of-year honors after dominating both the Billboard 200 albums and Hot 100 singles countdowns with tracks from her albums The Fame and The Fame Monster.
The discs were also placed at numbers four and 13, respectively, on the magazine's tally of the best releases of 2010 – which was topped by Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle's debut release I Dreamed a Dream.
Gaga beat Taylor Swift to the Artist of the Year title, preventing the country sweetheart from claiming the honor for the second year in a row. Rapper Eminem is the highest ranking male at three.
Elsewhere, Ke$ha claimed the Top New Artist accolade, while her hit single "TiK ToK" was also named Song of the Year.
And if one wax figure wasn't enough, SEVEN figures of Lady Gaga were unveiled today simultaneously around the world. You can find them at Madame Tussaud's in London, Amsterdam, New York, Hollywood, Las Vegas, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
