The Center for Science in the Public Interest may be putting a lawsuit against McDonald's because they apparently believe that their Happy Meals are a bad influence on children. They say the toys in the Happy Meals lure the children into bad eating habits. McD's doesn't see the claimed issue with putting toys into the meals.

James Skinner, the company's CEO, says "CSPI's twisted characterization of McDonald's as ';the stranger in the playground handing out candy to children' is an insult to every one of our franchisees and employees around the world. I want you to know we will vigorously defend our brand, our reputation, our food, and our people. CSPI is wrong in its assertions and frivolous in its legal threats."

What do you think? Are the Happy Meal toys a bad influence or a harmless gift?
