R&B star Ne-Yo is desperate to quit partying and shape up before he becomes a first-time father next year.
The "So Sick" singer, real name Shaffer Chimere Smith, is preparing to welcome his first child with girlfriend Monyetta in January and the star admits he's cutting back on his bad habits so he can become a family man.
He says, "I want to improve my fitness (but) I really don't like the gym. I'm getting all my hard partying out of the way now. I want to get in shape as I'm taking fatherhood seriously.
"I want to be around as much as I can. I have been turning down opportunities to play New Year's Eve gigs for ungodly amounts of money. But you have to do these things, you can't get back the birth of your child."
Don't forget that Ne-Yo's new album, Libra Scale, is in stores November 22. If you haven't yet, make sure to watch Ne-Yo's episode of Cambio Goes Home.
