Nick Jonas turned 19 yesterday and some lucky fans were with him in L.A. to wish him a happy birthday and snap a photo with the singer and his birthday cake.
"Amazing day celebrating @nickjonas' birthday with him and @cambioconnect!" one of our interns tweeted.
It was all part of a surprise video shoot that went down Friday night where we selected a handful of Nick's fans to experience a private performance with Nick and his band in a super intimate setting. We're keeping tight-lipped on all the specifics, but you'll be able to see it on Cambio very soon. And if you really can't wait to find out, this tweet tells you everything you need to know.
Earlier in the day, Joe Jonas tweeted Nick telling him to "eat tons of cake." We couldn't get a ton, but we did bring Nick an enormous chocolate sheet cake with cream cheese icing and sheet music (';Who I Am') on it. "Thanks for treating US on your birthday," tweeted one of the fans. "That was a large cake." Mission accomplished.
"Thanks to all my family, friends and fans for the birthday messages. It's been a great day. Love you all," he tweeted around the same time girlfriend Delta Goodrem tweeted out, "Happy Birthday to the amazing @nickjonas x :)"
Nick, who stopped by the Cambio studio earlier this week for a live chat, is currently gearing up for his South American tour beginning later this month. After that, he's moving to NYC to take over the role of J. Pierrepont Finch in ';How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying' from Daniel Radcliffe and Darren Criss. Nick's no stranger to Broadway, having appeared in runs of ';Beauty and the Beast,' ';Les Miserables,' and ';Annie Get Your Gun.'
