Nick Jonas will join a panel discussion at the 58th Cannes Lions Festival with Frederick Townes, chief technology officer at Mashable, Bob Garfield, author of Chaos Scenario, Nathan Coyle, general manager of Cambio and Ian Wolfman, CMO at imc². The group will present the "Friends With Benefits" seminar on June 19 at 3:30 p.m. in Cannes, France to discuss how brands are forming relationships in the digital era.
The seminar will discuss how traditional advertising has become less relevant during the digital marketing revolution. Marketers are now faced with a world of "friending" and "liking" and fan-paging, where values are not only shared, but also where relationships are found, forged and exploited. Garfield, known for sounding off about the death of traditional advertising and imc², devoted to marketing in The Relationship Era, will moderate the session and gain insights from panelists on the power of relationships.
The Cannes Lions learning program features 57 world-class seminars across seven days inside the Palais des Festival. Thought leaders and experts in all forms of communications and creative thinking will join together to inspire, debate and entertain at the Festival.
"We are thrilled to share the stage Nick Jonas and other marketing luminaries to talk about a movement we passionately stand behind here at imc²," said Wolfman. "This group of panelists each has a solid understanding of how to engage with fans and followers and sustain these relationships using the digital space."
