Production on hit TV show "Glee" was shut down this week after several castmembers fell sick with tonsillitis.

The actors and crew had been filming a special episode to air after next year's
American Super Bowl, but filming ground to a halt after a number of the series' stars contracted the nasty throat infection.

Production is scheduled to restart on Monday and the scenes which had to be skipped will be shot in January, according to EW.com. It is not known which of the stars were affected by the bug.

We do know that Dianna Agron, who plays Quinn Fabray, is under the weather. She posted in her tumblr this week: Note to self...should have gotten a flu shot. In bed, hoping that medicine, soup, my computer and a marathon of movies will be the cure.

We hope the cast gets well soon! We really can't wait to see that Super Bowl episode.
