Ryan Murphy, Glee producer and co-creator, received a peculiar fan note. The sender? Paul McCartney.

Ryan Murphy admitted thinking he was being "punked," but it turns out that Ashton Kutcher had nothing to do with this. Through the note Murphy discovered that the ex-Beatle is actually a fan of the hit Fox TV show and wants his music to be part of the craze. The note even included a mix of some of McCartney's music like "Michelle," and asked Murphy to consider using them on the show.

Murphy said he was "gobsmacked" by the offer and that he would take McCartney up on it!

That sounds great! I'm psyched for this episode!

What about you?
