The Jonas Brothers' softball team, the Road Dogs, will soon be heading to Texas. Their 9th game of the season versus the Marquis Jet Flyers will be held Sunday, September 12th at 12:30pm CST on the field of Dr Pepper Ballpark, home of the Frisco Roughriders. Tickets are FREE and will be distributed in person, on a first come first serve basis, via the Dr. Pepper Ballpark box office starting Friday, September 3rd at 9am. There will be a 6 ticket limit per guest.
Allstate's "X the TXT" is partnering with the Jonas Brothers' "Road Dogs" softball tour to raise teen awareness about the danger of texting while driving and to encourage young people and their families to pledge not to text and drive. During the game, fans can join the Jonas Brothers' and take the pledge by adding their thumbprint to a banner that will be traveling with the "Road Dogs" tour. Participants will receive "TXTNG KLLS" thumb bands to wear as a reminder of their commitment. Throughout the game, fans will also have the opportunity to win a meet and greet with the Jonas Brothers or autographed t-shirts.
"It is really important that our fans understand just how dangerous texting while driving is," said Kevin Jonas. "Pledging not to text and drive is a promise to your friends, your family and yourself
to keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel."
