Is Snooki the next Diane Sawyer? Based on this tweet from last week, she definitely has the desire and judging from this video, she's also got the potential, sort of.
"I wanna be a guest anchor woman! I can def put on a serious face, she tweeted on Aug. 24th.
We decided to make her dreams come true when she stopped by Cambio's L.A. offices on Monday after attending MTV's Video Music Awards.
"Welcome to the news according to Snooki.. I've always wanted to be an anchor woman and hello, I look hot doing it," she begins before launching into some of today's hottest news stories including Hurricane Irene and whether or not aliens are real.
"Obviously aliens do exist," she says. "I've seen spaceships in the air before and I got abducted by aliens before because I'm like, 'Oh my God, what happened?' I wake up the next day and I'm like, 'Okay, I remember being at the club, but I don't remember getting home or whatever.' So obviously they are real."
Watch the video below for Snooki's take on more news stories including Beyonce's pregnancy ('I really think she's gonna have a really cute baby, tan obviously'), a 75-year-old who recently got breast implants ('Good for you, that's an awesome decision and you're boobs probably look phenomonal'), and a dog who recently ate $10,000 worth of diamonds ('That poop is going to be worth a lot of money, I'll tell you that').
One thing Snooki has on Diane Sawyer is she's a published author. Snooki's first book, 'A Shore Thing' is a New York Times bestseller and she's set to release another book, 'Confessions of a Guidette' this October.
