As we previously reported, the nominations for the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmys were announced this morning. The nominees took to their twitters and released statements to sources like the Hollywood Reporter about being nominated. Check out some of them below.

Neil Patrick Harris: Two nominations this year? That's fantastic. Maybe next year I'll get three! At that rate, by the year 2107 I'll be a lock for every single category. Wish me luck.

Joe Jonas: Goodmornin! Jonas is up for an Emmy?! Highfive!

Chelsea Staub: Woke up to some amazing messages: JONAS was just nominated for an EMMY! (Spazzy, happy bed dance in progress.)

Nicole Anderson: OMG Jonas is nominated for an Emmy! I can't believe it!!!

David Henrie:
So blessed. The show was nominated for another emmy. Let's c if we can go 2 for 2!

Kevin McHale (Glee): So beyond proud of all my gleeks! Thank you emmy for recognizing our amazing glee army (crew & co)!

Miranda Cosgrove:
iCarly is nominated for an Emmy!!! We are having a party on set :)

Nathan Kress (iCarly):
Ahhhh we got nominated for an Emmy?!? That's so awesome! Thank you guys for all your support. We literally couldn't do it without you. :)

Tina Fey: This seems like an appropriate time for me to announce to NBC that I will not be renewing my contract…with my gym.

Betty White: The silly thing at my age, at this point in my age it's the last thing in the world that I would expect. You can't be in this business for 63 years and not get emotional about it. The thing that surprises me, everyone says I'm having a ';career resurgence.' I never went away! I've been working for all 63 years, and to have it turn like this is amazing.

Matthew Morrison (Glee): I want to say this stuff doesn't matter to me right now, but I can't wipe the smile off my face. I'm going to get humbled with bad hair jokes. I think the fact that it is in the comedy category is great but it's so much more than that. It's a show about the underdog and I'm so happy the underdog is kicking a- right now.

Lea Michele (Glee): It's one of those things where it doesn't feel real. The Golden Globes were so real this year. Losing to Toni Collette was the coolest thing that has happened in my life so I can't wait for the Emmys. The fact that Matthew (Morrison), Jane (Lynch) and Chris (Colfer) were all nominated - every time I say Chris' name today I feel like I'm going to cry.

Michael C Hall (Dexter): (The nomination) is just a confirmation of how lucky I feel to have had this illness do nothing in terms of keeping the ball rolling on the show, not just for me but for all the people who make up the ';Dexter' family. I'm really glad it happened during the hiatus so I could address it then.

Sofia Vergara (Modern Family): I didn't read my own name, but I read ';Modern Family.' It was so exciting! I had a fantastic year. I was very surprised to be nominated. I still can't believe it.

You can read more of the nominees reactions here. Be sure to tune into the Emmys on August 29.
